Meet our Team

Misha Daniels

Misha’s classes encourage you to let go of self-judgement and expectation and meet yourself where you are in that moment.

She is passionate that we arrive onto the mat with our individual body structures and history. Some physical poses we can do with ease, some we will never be able to do, and that we must accept.

Guided by breath through a continual flow, with some poses held for longer durations to simply feel. Misha combines her training in hatha, vinyasa, yin yoga and holistic approach of naturopathy to offer what her students need in that moment.

Katerina Ioannou

FOUNDER / INSTRUCTOR – Katerina, originally a dancer, was drawn to Yoga and Pilates to support her injuries from performing, and this has inspired her physically and spiritually.

Katerina brings a huge sense of energy, enthusiasm and kindness to her informative classes. Being inspired from her studies in India she uses breathing as the greatest tool to work on the nervous system to reduce anxiety, to re-connect body and mind, to focus, to enable positive thinking and ultimately reawaken internal balance.

Having the body intelligence of a dancer along with her knowledge from her Pilates studies with her inspiring teacher Anne-Marie Zulkahari, Katerina likes to pay attention to alignment and to tailor her classes to support practitioner’s individual needs. She is a highly experienced children and family Yoga teacher, specialising in working with children and adults with SEN as well as with pregnancy and rehabilitation clients, where her gentle approach is both effective and popular.

Sinem Er

Sinem was born and raised in Istanbul. She has been practising yoga since 2005 and finds great joy in sharing the teachings of yoga since 2010.

She was fortunate enough to learn about yoga from many valuable teachers, but her root teacher is Cyndi Lee, the first western female yoga teacher to integrate yoga and Buddhism, the founder of the legendary OM Yoga School. She completed her 200-hour training in 2010 and 500-hour advanced training in 2015 with her. In 2018, she had the honour of translating her book ‘Yoga Body, Buddha Mind’ into Turkish. Cyndi’s take on yoga and meditation radically changed herperspective, her relationship with herself, the world, and the teachings of yoga.

She sees the yoga practice as a reminder that everything is interconnected and interdependent and vinyasa as a physical expression of this fact.

She teaches multi-level, alignment-based vinyasa yoga classes, grounded in the practices of mindfulness and compassion. She distills the postures, offering the building blocks for the student to choose from to meet their needs. Her classes are an invitation to practice placing the attention on the breath, the body and the mind, noticing everything that happens on the way, to move, to engage, to let go and most of all, making friends with it all.

Renata Dos Passos De Almeida

INSTRUCTOR- From young age, I have been fascinated with exercises and all sorts of movements.
As a child, I did ballet, jazz, gymnastics and capoeira. In my teen’s I studied drama for a while and ended becoming an actress. I did a couple of theatre plays and some TV work. In the meantime, I started a professional school of contemporary dance and studied there for two years. With inspiring teachers. But I’ve made some changing on my plans and I came to live in London, after having my son I started to have some aches and pains, so I decided to try some pilates classes and after few classes I’ve notice some improvements and after one year of consistency practice I was pain free. I felt in love with Pilates and I turned into my full time job. After qualifying in 2012 at City Lit College I taught for a couple of years and later discovered Body Control Pilates, I did a bridging course and 2012 and 2014 I qualified on the reformer and regularly attend workshops, courses and teachers classes.

Josipa Smith

INSTRUCTOR- Jos is a local mum of two and a yoga teacher, teaching weekly group yoga classes and Private Yoga sessions in North London

She has been practising yoga for over 14 years. Initially it was something to do, a way to move her body. Her practice deepened after the birth of her children. Like many parents with small children she felt exhausted, mentally and physically – yoga has been her lifeline and gave her much needed time to reflect, release tension and stop mind chatter. Yoga taught her how to be more present, patient, how to listen to her body, how to breathe – something we all take for granted.

As Jos began to feel the transformation yoga had in her life she felt inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. Jos believes the mind, body, soul connection is a sacred one, and one that should be nurtured and inspired. She teaches her classes from her heart creating an uplifting, safe environment for students to begin to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness.

She believes that maintaining a mindful practice and restoring the mind-body connection teaches us how to live a fulfilling, healthy, and happy life on and off the yoga mat.
