Katerina Ioannou
FOUNDER / INSTRUCTOR
Katerina, originally a dancer, was drawn to Yoga and Pilates to support her injuries from performing, and this has inspired her physically and spiritually.
Katerina brings a huge sense of energy, enthusiasm and kindness to her informative classes. Being inspired from her studies in India she uses breathing as the greatest tool to work on the nervous system to reduce anxiety, to re-connect body and mind, to focus, to enable positive thinking and ultimately reawaken internal balance.
Having the body intelligence of a dancer along with her knowledge from her Pilates studies with her inspiring teacher Anne-Marie Zulkahari, Katerina likes to pay attention to alignment and to tailor her classes to support practitioner’s individual needs. She is a highly experienced children and family Yoga teacher, specialising in working with children and adults with SEN as well as with pregnancy and rehabilitation clients, where her gentle approach is both effective and popular.
Guided by a strong emphasis on breath, through a continual flow, with some poses held for longer durations to simply feel. Misha combines her training in hatha, vinyasa, yin yoga and holistic approach of naturopathy to offer what her students require.

Eleanor Coleman
Instructor
Eleanor is continually inspired by the positive differences Pilates can make to the way we feel in, and use, our bodies regardless of age, fitness level and physical condition. Her aim is to encourage a naturally balanced body that moves with greater ease and her starting point is to harmonise the breath with movement; helping to relieve tension and encouraging focus on individual muscles,as well as the whole body.
Comprehensively trained by the Pilates Foundation, she initially qualified as a Matwork teacher at The Place, under Susanne Lahusen, Hana Jones and Sonia Noonan. She was then fortunate enough to continue and complete her Equipment training with master teacher trainers Hana Jones and Anne-Marie Zulkahari, both founder members of the Pilates Foundation.
From an early age Eleanor’s focus was on dance and the visual arts. After performing at both Sadlers Wells and The Royal Festival Hall as a child, she went on to study three dimensional design and worked in set and costume design in theatre and television. Returning to dance and exercise after the birth of her first child she discovered Pilates, which felt like the perfect marriage of her core interests in three-dimensional structures, this time the body, and movement.
Having returned to teaching Pilates full-time after a period of office work, she’s personally experienced the challenges our bodies can face as a result of a more sedentary lifestyle, and just how supportive Pilates can be to counteract this.
Eleanor enjoys and has experience teaching all ages, from secondary school children through to elders, as well as those with injuries, conditions and diseases. She’s also taught in a variety of settings, including a school, offices, such as The Electoral Commission, and organisations, such as the North London Buddhist Centre; as well as at health clubs, client’s homes and in Pilates studios across London.
Complimenting and enhancing the mind body connection found in Pilates, Eleanor also practices yoga, meditation and mindfulness.

Jos is a local mum of two and a yoga teacher, teaching weekly group yoga classes and Private Yoga sessions in North London
She has been practising yoga for over 14 years. Initially it was something to do, a way to move her body. Her practice deepened after the birth of her children. Like many parents with small children she felt exhausted, mentally and physically – yoga has been her lifeline and gave her much needed time to reflect, release tension and stop mind chatter. Yoga taught her how to be more present, patient, how to listen to her body, how to breathe – something we all take for granted.
As Jos began to feel the transformation yoga had in her life she felt inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. Jos believes the mind, body, soul connection is a sacred one, and one that should be nurtured and inspired. She teaches her classes from her heart creating an uplifting, safe environment for students to begin to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness.
She believes that maintaining a mindful practice and restoring the mind-body connection teaches us how to live a fulfilling, healthy, and happy life on and off the yoga mat.

From young age, I have been fascinated with exercises and all sorts of movements.
As a child, I did ballet, jazz, gymnastics and capoeira. In my teen’s I studied drama for a while and ended becoming an actress. I did a couple of theatre plays and some TV work. In the meantime, I started a professional school of contemporary dance and studied there for two years. With inspiring teachers. But I’ve made some changing on my plans and I came to live in London, after having my son I started to have some aches and pains, so I decided to try some pilates classes and after few classes I’ve notice some improvements and after one year of consistency practice I was pain free. I felt in love with Pilates and I turned into my full time job. After qualifying in 2012 at City Lit College I taught for a couple of years and later discovered Body Control Pilates, I did a bridging course and 2012 and 2014 I qualified on the reformer and regularly attend workshops, courses and teachers classes.
